The A-9 motorway runs north from Santiago to La Coruña and Ferrol, and runs south via Pontevedra and Vigo to Tui, on the border with Portugal.
The N-VI from Madrid to La Coruña, and from there the A-9 motorway on to Santiago de Compostela.
